A hit and run driver is being hunted by police after a man was left with head injuries in Failsworth.
He was struck as he crossed Oldham Road, near the Lamb Inn and Mill Street, at 9.40pm on Saturday.
The 48-year-old was taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital with head and neck injuries which are not thought to be life threatening.
Police say the incident happened as the car, possibly a red Renault Clio or Ford Fiesta, was undertaking another vehicle in the bus lane, travelling towards Oldham.
