SADDLEWORTH Round Table’s new chairman has vowed to encourage recruitment of new members from a wider area to join the organisation.
Revealing his new team, Mike Coulter, from Greenfield, said 2010 is a year to build on the club’s great successes of the past few years.
“We have a strong, keen membership, with ages ranging from 21 upwards and we are aiming to encourage young people to join,” he said. “We want to explore recruiting members from Oldham, Mossley and Tameside — all who would be made very welcome.” The chairman’s charities for this year are Francis House and Round Table Make a Wish.
