Oldham Mayor Jim McArdle embraced his racing spirit during a tour of Trafford.
Councillor McArdle joined mayors from across Greater Manchester at the Daytona indoor karting track on a trip organised by Trafford Mayor David Higgins.
The tour was set up to highlight the range of business and entertainment opportunities in the area.
After a tour of the facilities at Daytona the mayors swapped their chains for racing suits and took to the tracks.
