“STRICTLY Come Dancing” star Ricky Whittle denied dangerous driving when he appeared in court today.
The Oldham-born actor, who was runner–up in the BBC dancing show in December, was arrested after he allegedly struck a photographer with his car.
The incident, in November last year, happened as Whittle left a party for cast members of the Channel Four soap “Hollyoaks” at the Studio Two bar in Liverpool city centre.
Whittle (30), of Billinge, Wigan, appeared before Liverpool Crown Court where he pleaded not guilty to one count of dangerous driving.
He was bailed until his four-day trial begins on Monday, August 9.
