Final family day kicks off at Boundary Park
Date published: 23 April 2010
FAMILY fun will be the name of the game when Latics take on Southend at Boundary Park tomorrow.
Oldham Athletic Community Trust will be running a range of activities to boost the match-day experience for families.
Latics Zone will be hosting an interactive educational session for families using Nintendo DS’s and Wii’s, in partnership with Playing for Success, from 1-3pm.
The Blue Crew will be strutting their stuff in the Chaddy End and there will be free face painting.
At half time the crowd can watch the Oldham Community Cup Junior Schools Final between Cannon Burrows and South Failsworth.
School pupils who have been involved in the MOTIV project, which is supported every season by the club, will be at the match after receiving free tickets for 100 per cent attendance.
This will be the final family day of the season but due to the success of previous days the Community Trust will be staging family activities at every home game next season.
