Bikers show off their prized possessions
BIKERS from across the region rode into town for a motorcycle rally at Austerlands Cricket Club.
About 300 people attended the event organised by the Hyde-based Rising Moon Motorcycle Club.
Sunshine and clear skies proved the perfect weather for club members and visitors to camp out at the club.
A selection of prized bikes were on display during the rally show, with prizes for the best bikes, best trikes and best club turnout.
Rock music and a bucking bronco entertained the crowds while stall holders sold biker clothes and accessories.
Even local residents got involved by donating two crash helmets as raffle prizes.
Paul Redfern (40), club founder and chairman, said: “This is the fifth annual rally we have held and it was a fantastic weekend.
“The weather was unbelievably good, it was a sell out and we can’t thank Austerlands Cricket Club enough.”
