Date published: 26 April 2010
The Lancashire and Yorkshire roses are blooming on the borders of both counties today.
New signs at Grains Bar, where Oldham, Shaw and Saddleworth meet, were uncovered by the Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Jim McArdle, the chairman of Shaw and Crompton Parish Council, Councillor Mari Wiswell, and Councillor Brian Lord of Saddleworth Parish Council.
Members of Saddleworth White Rose Society and the Real Lancashire Society also supported the event.
