THE parade begins with banners and flags flying
Scouts in Oldham marked the 100th anniversary of the first troop opening in the borough.
Scouts first appeared in Oldham in 1910, three years after the national movement was founded by Lord Baden Powell.
And all the present-day local scout groups turned out in force to mark the occasion by marching from Grange School to Oldham Athletic’s ground at Boundary Park, accompanied by Milnrow Band.
