Writers come out of the shadows
Date published: 29 April 2010
FANS of fiction are invited to attend Oldham Writing Cafe’s very first book launch tonight.
The writing group, which meets on Saturdays at Canon George Hall, Chapel Road, Hollins, was given a community grant last year of £3,500 to create a novel.
Now the 14 members are launching “Shadows” an anthology of short stories at Gallery Oldham from 7pm to 9pm.
Compere for the evening will be Julian Daniel with entertainment provided by recording artist Double A, also known as Adam Adamson, and Christian rapper Stylo.
The event is free and open to all with a glass of wine and a light buffet available.
The book will be on sale for £4 and for more information call Carolyn Crossley on 07968 993 497.
