Oldham Muslim Centre has been shortlisted for the Community Cohesion prize in the North West Fusion awards.
The centre is based in Neville Street, Chadderton, and the award, sponsored by Blackburn with Darwen Council, recognises the centre’s proactive approach to promoting the idea of raising money for local charities and developing innovative projects dealing with sensitive issues for young people.
The sold-out awards ceremony will take place at Ewood Park in Blackburn on May 22 and celebrate unsung heroes from all walks of life and their contribution to their various communities across the region.
