The Chronicle keeps me in touch, five days a week

LOCAL NEWSPAPER WEEK
Debbie Bridge, head of University Campus Oldham, tells us why she loves her local paper.
“I couldn’t do my job without reading the Evening Chronicle.
“I check it on line at lunch time and then read a hard copy later. I like to read through the readers’ comments, too, to see what issues provoke a response.
“A large part of my role as head of University Campus Oldham is working in partnership with local schools, colleges and businesses.
“It is so important that I keep up to date with changes in the borough so that I can identify opportunities that will benefit our students and our partners. Reading the Oldham Chronicle keeps me in touch with the local communities five days a week.
“We take our role in the community seriously, supporting important events such as Pride in Oldham, One Oldham Business Awards and the Oldham Education Trust, all of which are supported by the Oldham Chronicle.
“In turn we look to the Chronicle to support our events such as open days, UCO showcase (fifth anniversary this year!) and of course our awards ceremony celebrating graduation.”
