BRIAN Hurst and his team of fundraisers at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Royton, applauded the Oldham Chronicle for its unstinting support.
The hospice appeals manager said: “The Chronicle does a fabulous job telling people about events taking place and taking photographs at them.
“It’s great that people who raise money for us get some recognition through the newspaper.
“It also lets people know how much money has been raised from each event, and what organisations, businesses and individual people are doing to support their local hospice.
“Without the publicity from the Chronicle we would struggle to raise the money we do, it’s absolutely marvellous.”
