The final teams
A CHARITY football tournament raised £3,000 for the Oldham Muslim Community Centre.
The Football Festival, which was held at Grange School and sponsored by Tesco’s Huddersfield Road store, brought together 24 teams of Muslim teenagers.
AFC Real Bental took the cup, beating Mashwor in a penalty shoot-out after the match ended in a 1-1 draw after extra time.
Mike Andrew, marketing manager at Tesco Extra Huddersfield Road, said: “Tesco are proud to support such a worthwhile community event and I was delighted to see so many talented players on one pitch.”
