Assault charge

A 45-year-old man has been charged with assault following an incident in Alexandra Park.
Police were alerted after reports that a 14-year-old boy and his 39-year-old mother had been assaulted shortly before 7.45pm on Thursday, April 8. Keith Morris, of Old Kiln Lane, Grotton, is charged with two counts of common assault and will appear before Oldham magistrates on June 7.
