Celebrity soccer for soldiers’ charity

A CELEBRITY Failsworth football match with stars from TV will raise funds for the Help for Heroes charity.
The match, followed by a pub fun day, has been organised by Manchester Royal Infirmary porter Paul Griffiths.
It will be held at Lord Lane playing fields on June 12 and celebrities taking part will include Ciaran Griffiths from “Shameless”, Philip Olivier from “Brookside”, Craig Philips of “Big Brother” fame, boxer Frankie Gavin, Chris Simmons from “The Bill” and more from “Coronation Street”, “Hollyoaks” and other well-known actors.
The fun continues at the Mare and Foal, in Ashton Road West, Failsworth, with a bouncy castle, football competition, raffle and auction.
