ART-LOVERS descended on Gravelhole Methodist Church to celebrate the gift of creativity.
Around 200 visitors flocked to the Royton church’s second arts festival, giving them a chance to browse through work produced by a clutch of local artists.
They enjoyed concerts from local organists Daniel Devall (16) and Chris Price. There was also the chance to see Graham Hudson painting in oils, John Ashworth showing off his wood-turning skills, and Littleborough Lacemakers demonstrate the ancient craft.
One of the organisers, Josie Smith, said: “It was very successful.
“The concerts were excellent and we had a wonderful church service and sang a new hymn which was written especially for us. It was a good weekend and everyone enjoyed it.”
