Trader on trial
Date published: 27 May 2010
A market trader is to face a Crown Court trial accused of sexually abusing two young boys more than 30 years ago.
Ian Stanner (50), of Hollins Road, Oldham, appeared before magistrates in Manchester on 20 counts of rape, indecent assault and gross indecency between 1976-82.
It was alleged the offences took place when the boys were under 16.
Mr Stanner was granted bail and will appear before a judge at crown court for a plea and case management hearing on August 31.
