Celebration week for army of carers

PEOPLE who look after others will be able to enjoy belly dancing, beauty therapy and street cheer during Carers Week 2010.
The week’s events will be launched at Oldham Sports Centre on June 14 from 10am with a multisports event starting at 5pm.
The following day there will be a fun day at the Carers Centre in Phoenix Street from 10am-2pm and on the Wednesday, carers can try out walks in the park, art workshops, local history study sessions, web skills lessons and belly dancing.
Sharing and Caring Day will take place on Thursday at the Carers Centre and there will be a grand finale on Friday with a drama workshop at the Oldham Coliseum and a party with Oldham International Choir
