HOLLINWOOD businessman Frank Rothwell has joined forces with up and coming entrepreneurs to raise money for local cancer patients.
Business studies apprentices have teamed up with Frank, who runs Manchester Cabins, to launch the Pink Promenade in aid of Link4Pink.
The appeal raises money to improve facilities at the Victoria Breast Care Unit at the Royal Oldham Hospital.
The walk, which costs £10 to enter, will take place at Hollingworth Lake on Sunday, July 4, from noon with Maria Bramley, consultant breast surgeon, taking the lead.
Miss Bramley said: “We are pleased to welcome Frank on board as an ambassador for the appeal and the business studies apprentices who are helping to organise this year’s walk.
“Everyone who registers gets a pink T-shirt.”
Call 0161-720 4824 to enter.
