A Porsche driver gave her neighbours an early wake-up call when she smashed the car into a house in Chamber Road, Shaw.
The crash happened just after 6.30am on Saturday when the convertible supercar demolished a stone wall and smashed into the terrace house.
The driver, who also lives on Chamber Road, is believed to have been trying to move her boyfriend’s car to a better parking place when her foot hit the accelerator not the brake.
The car shot across the road, and was badly damaged by the impact. The people living in the house are believed to be away on holiday.
Firemen from Chadderton and Oldham made the area safe and traffic police were called in, but said there were no injuries.
A neighbour said: “There was a loud bang. We were all out in our pyjamas wondering what happened. I believe she was moving her boyfriend’s car because it wasn’t parked very well.”
