Have a dadtastic day!

DADS and grandads can enjoy some family fun the week before Father’s Day during a Dadtastic Family Fun event on Saturday.

The Children’s Society and Oldham Council are holding the free event at Medlock Valley Primary School, Fitton Hill between 10.30am and 12.30pm.

The day is aimed at all local families who have a child under five or for anyone expecting a new baby — but older brother and sisters are welcome too.

A range of fun activities will be on offer including the Creepy Crawley Roadshow, and youngsters will have a chance to climb aboard a fire engine or play in a police car.

Oldham Athletic Community Trust plus Chaddy the Owl will be organising sports and youngsters can make a gift for Father’s Day.

This event is for all the family but dads, grandads, uncles or male carers are especially welcome.
