ENGLAND fan James McDermott shows he is proud to fly the flag as he whizzes around Oldham on his mobility scooter.

The 74-year-old grandfather-of-nine has attached a St George’s flag on the front of his vehicle and will be cheering on the English lads against the USA on Saturday.

The former security guard, from Apfel Lane, Chadderton, said: “I’m hoping England make it through to the latter stages, a lot of people don’t think they will, but that is a very negative attitude.”
