OLDHAM-born actor Ricky Whittle has been crowned Rear of the Year in recognition of his perfect posterior.

The 28-year-old, who delighted his female fans with an array of tight fitting costumes on BBC’s “Strictly Come Dancing”, won the annual contest to determine which celeb has the most delectable derriere.

And it capped a busy day for the star who also launched this year’s Royal International Air Tattoo in Fairford.
