TWO women and a child were taken to hospital after a car crash in Derker yesterday.
Fire crews and paramedics worked together to help one of the women with suspected spinal injuries out of a car.
They used a spine board to carry her to an ambulance which took her to the Royal Oldham Hospital.
A woman and a three-year-old child who were in the second vehicle were also taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
The accident happened just after 6.30pm when a Punto and a Rover collided at the junction of Vulcan Street and Prince Charlie Street.
The Punto was carrying two women and a teenage boy and the woman and her three-year-old daughter were in the Rover.
The vehicles suffered slight damage, and no-one else was injured.
