Drugs raid arrests

Two Westwood men have been charged after police found heroin and crack cocaine at houses in Oldham.
Officers searched homes in Ashley Street and Osbourne Street and recovered significant amounts of Class A drugs.
Drugs and cash were also found in a car stopped and searched in Crompton Street, Coldhurst.
Mohibur Khan (22), of Ashley Street, and Umor Ali (20), of Osbourne Street, have been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession of heroin and crack cocaine.

::Greater Manchester Police has since apologised after wrongly claiming a third Oldham man had been charged. We reported on June 21 that Mohammed Rohul Amin (23) of Sterling Street, Westwood, had been charged with driving with no insurance. He has not been charged with any offence.
