FUN in the sun was on the cards for youngsters at the annual Chadderton Day celebrations on Saturday.
Children and their families headed to Foxdenton Park to enjoy a whole range of activities in the scorching summer weather.
From face-painting to penalty shoot-outs and a teddy bears’ picnic, there was something to suit all ages. Entertainment included music from Chadderton Brass Band, street theatre, and the Blue Crew Dancers.
Cars star at family event
GLORIOUS sunshine contributed to Shaw and Crompton’s family weekend being one of the best yet.
Residents turned out in droves to the annual treat to enjoy a fairground, train rides, dance demonstrations, charity stalls and vintage cars. More details and pictures tomorrow.
