ALEX goes trading with the Trotters
Smiles more fun with the Dr Kershaw’s meerkats
THEY’RE starting to turn up in the most unusual places!
We’ve linked up with Dr Kershaw’s to have a Summer of Fun with the Royton hospice’s latest fundraising mascot Alex the meerkat.
We want readers to buy one of the Dr Kershaw’s meerkats, take it on their travels and send us back photographs from interesting locations.
Alex has been hitching a lift in two classic cars, the one from the hit film “Ghostbusters”, and the other, (pictured) Del Boy’s three-wheeler from “Only Fools and Horses”.
There are still a few meerkats waiting at Dr Kershaw’s for a new home and a summer holiday.
They cost £7.99 each from the hospice appeals office on 0161-624 9984, or from any of Dr Kershaw’s charity shops in Market Street, Shaw, Royton precinct, and High Street, Lees.
