Gun charge teen in custody

A 19-YEAR-OLD man accused of firing an air gun at armed police officers has been remanded in custody.
Jake Smith, of Aden Street, Oldham, is charged with possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence in relation to an incident on Friday evening.
Smith’s case will be heard at Manchester Crown Court on July 26. There will be a bail hearing in two days.
