motoring enthusiasts can look forward to a display of classic cars when the fifth annual car rally comes back to Oldham Town Centre on Sunday.
Over 50 cars will be displayed on High Street ranging from the early 1900s models all the way up to modern classics.
The event has been organised by the Town Centre Partnership in conjunction with the Tame Valley Vintage and Classic Car Club, and will run from 10am to 3.30pm.
Andrew Fletcher, chairman of the Town Centre Partnership, said: “It’s a delight to welcome this rally back to Oldham, especially as the club is celebrating its 25th year.”
Peter Moore, from the Classic Car Club, said: “The level of interest that the cars get when we come to Oldham is always high.”
The cars will be judged under eight different categories with Mayor of Oldham councillor David Jones presenting a trophy for the Car of the Show.
Owners will be on hand to chat about their car’s history and offer information and advice about classic motors
Anyone wishing to take part in the Rally should phone Peter Moore on 0161-320 1284 or turn up on the day before 10am.
