PUPILS had their head in the stars during design and technology week at Hathershaw College of Technology and Sport.
The event is held every year to celebrate the achievement of pupils in design and technology and provide an opportunity for them to experience activities outside the classroom.
This year, 100 Year 7 students learned about space and the solar system on a visit to a planetarium.
And then a trip to the National Media Museum in Bradford helped youngsters learn more about changing technologies.
The week ended with Year 5 pupils from St Martin’s and Holy Rosary Primary schools visiting the college to take part in a K’nex challenge with help from Hathershaw’s Year 7 technology students.
