The cars were the stars when vintage and cherished vehicles rolled into Oldham town centre yesterday.
The fifth annual town centre car rally featured more than 50 gleaming cars — ranging from early 1900s models to modern classics — displayed on High Street.
It was organised by the Town Centre Partnership and the Tame Valley Vintage and Classic Car Club, which is celebrating its 25th year.
The cars were judged in eight different categories, and the Mayor of Oldham, Councillor David Jones, presented the trophy for the Car of the Show — a 1950s Sunbeam Talbot owned by Michael Jump of Denton.
Owners were on hand to talk about their car’s history and offer information about classic cars.
