United in festival fun

ALL the fun of the fair was had during the Hollinwood Together Festival.
Crowds gathered to enjoy the fourth annual event which had the theme Nations of the World.
Sponsored by Contour Homes, the festival started at 10am with a celebratory service at St Margaret’s Church, Chapel Road.
The carnival procession left the church and headed to Limeside Park, First Avenue, where the Mayor of Oldham, Councillor David Jones officially opened the event.
Fun for all the family was available during the day including fairground rides, comedy trampoline displays, and a chance to meet exotic animals up close.
A Hollinwood’s Got Talent competition was held and there were live performances from Manchester bands Mr Lizard and Strange Ways.
