Alex sets out his stall with a Bavarian bread seller
Alex the meerkat has been on his travels again, flying out to Austria and Germany.
He joined a party of volunteers and supporters from Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Royton, who were off the see the Oberammergau passion play, performed only once every 10 years in the Bavarian village in Germany where it began as thanks for being spared from the plague, 375 years ago.
And he also enjoyed local singing and dancing, plus the famous Bavarian bread and sausages!
