Jealous rage costs £1,000

JEALOUSY got the better of Danielle Greenham when she saw a woman’s car parked outside her ex-partner’s house at 4am.
After kicking the front door and being told to go away, she caused over £1,000 damage to the car.
And she ended up screaming on the pavement struggling with police, Mrs Kerry Bell, prosecuting, told Manchester magistrates. Greenham (21), of Fife Avenue, Chadderton, admitted a charge of damage and was conditionally discharge and told to pay £1,013 compensation.
Mrs Bell said Greenham had been drinking and threw gravel at the vehicle, chipping the bonnet and windscreen.
Greenham wept as Miss Martha Whitehead, defending, said her client was unaware her ex-partner had had an overlapping relationship with another woman.
She said Greenham went to see the father of her nine-month-old to sort things out, adding: “On seeing the car, she lost her temper and is deeply sorry for her out of character behaviour”.
