Room for one more!

Mark Owen says the news that Robbie Williams and Take That are back for good is “like a dream.”

The 38-year-old Oldhamer reacted to the news that Robbie, who walked out on the band 15 years ago, has ended months of speculation by announcing that they had reunited for a new album.

Bandmate Owen said: “Getting the five of us to be in a room together, although always a dream, never actually seemed like becoming a reality.

“Now the reality of the five of us making a record together feels like a dream. It’s been an absolute delight spending time with Rob again. But I’m still a better footballer,” he joked.

Robbie said: “It feels like coming home.”

The two sides gradually settled their differences over the past few years, until revealing yesterday that they were back.

Footage posted on the band’s website shows them together in the studio — laughing, joking and singing as they worked on an untitled album to be released in November.

Last year, Robbie and his former bandmates shared a stage for a Children In Need concert, an event organised by Take That’s Gary Barlow.

However the quintet — completed by Jason Orange and Howard Donald — had already begun to work together. Robbie let slip during a radio interview late last year that they had been recording.

Take That disbanded in 1996 but reunited without Williams in 2005 to huge success, including three number one singles.
