VOLUNTEERS at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice will be back on the road again thanks to OMC Motor Group.
The company has handed over the keys to a Ford Transit van for the Royton hospice to use free of charge for the next five years.
Volunteer drivers will now be able to use the new wheels for deliveries and special events. Hospice fund-raiser, Brian Hurst, said: “We had a van that was 12 years old. It was costing us more to run than it was worth. The new one is absolutely fantastic as it has been re-sprayed for us and sign-written.
“A great big thank-you goes out to OMC Motor Group — we are very grateful.”
