GREAT outdoors . . . Tom Adamson and Doreen Tellow prepare to open their award-winning garden
A TALENTED gardener is hoping success will be on the cards again this weekend as he opens his prize- winning garden.
Tom Adamson (45) has won the Saddleworth in Bloom medium-sized garden award five times in the last six years and is aiming to put in a repeat performance when the judges visit this weekend.
It takes the green-fingered enthusiast over 2,500 plants to create the blooming beautiful garden that he is so proud of.
And in a bid to raise money for Cancer Research UK, he is throwing open the gates of 46 Burnedge Lane, Grasscroft, between 2 and 5pm tomorrow. Tom and partner Doreen will be putting on a raffle, refreshments and bric-a-brac stalls complete with prizes donated by local pubs, with all proceeds being donated to the charity.
