Charity event raises over £1,200
Cosmopolitans, Mojitos and Singapore Slings were the order of the day at a dazzling charity cocktail bash in Saddleworth.
Locals turned up the glitz to bring the wow factor to the Old Bell Inn, Delph, and raise money for Motor Neurone Disease.
Organised by Dobcross postmaster Sukhi Singh, the glamorous evening started with Bellini cocktails as the exotic drinks flowed freely and locals packed-out the charity celebration.
Sukhi said: “There was an amazing spirit and a fantastic night was had by all. We managed to raise over £1,200 on the night and I was so pleased with the turn-out.
“We’ll definitely be having another night at the Old Bell Inn again in the near future.”
A singer entertained the crowd while an auction prize — to be chauffeured, wined and dined — boosted the grand total.
