Oldham Planning Committee reports by Richard Hooton
CASH will be provided by a developer to improve a games area at Coalshaw Green Park rather than create a new one.
Redrow Homes had agreed to build a new recreational area when it gained planning permission to build 120 houses at the former Gem Mill Site, Fields New Road, Chadderton. But it fears the scheme might be delayed by noise and disturbance from the play area affecting residents and has agreed to pay £82,803 instead to improve the dilapidated games area at Coalshaw Green Park.
