Alex on his travels

Alex at the Trevi Fountain in Rome.
ALEX the meerkat turned out to be quite an attraction himself as he posed in front of the stunning Trevi fountain in Rome for Clarksfield holidaymakers Andrew, Carol and Chloe Moore.
But his sightseeing didn’t stop there. Alex took in the magnificent St Peter’s Square in Vatican City and the Spanish Steps where he was snapped by another Oldham holidaymaker, Philip Hirst.
The Chronicle has linked up with Dr Kershaw’s to have a summer of fun with the Royton hospice’s latest fundraising mascot. We hope to receive lots more photos from readers who take Alex along with them on their summer holiday trips.
