Latics players at signing session in Spindles
LATICS fans young and old flocked to Spindles yesterday to meet their heroes. The annual signing session drew large crowds, ahead of the start of the League One season which kicks off on Saturday.
Under new player-boss Paul Dickov and with new signings such as Warren Feeney and Ritchie Jones on board, hopes are high that the club can improve on last season’s 16th-placed finish.
Latics begin with an away clash at Tranmere Rovers, with their first home game taking place on Saturday, August 14, when Notts County visit Boundary Park.
