Office fits the bill for growing council

SHAW and Crompton Parish Council wants to buy a former housing office.
It has approached Oldham Council to see if it is willing to sell the former First Choice Homes Oldham (FCHO) offices in Kershaw Street, Shaw.
The parish council has been searching for new premises, saying its current High Street office is not suitable for meetings.
A report to Oldham Council’s cabinet recommends the sale, subject to terms being agreed.
