THE Chronicle has linked up with Dr Kershaw’s to have a Summer of Fun with the Royton hospice’s latest fund-raising mascot Alex the meerkat.
The popular cuddly toy is tremendously popular with readers — who have been taing hm on their world travels and sending us the pictures. here are the latest!
Dancing the night away
WE know he’s got a taste for adventure but it appears Alex the celebrity meerkat also has an eye for the ladies.
The wily critter sneaked backstage to enjoy a cuddle with the dancers from a glamorous show at Blackpool’s Viking Hotel during a holiday at the seaside resort. Then he stole the show from comedians Buddy Lee and Carl Schofield!
Having a wizard time in Oz
IS this the furthest that celebrity meerkat Alex has travelled on his tour of the globe?
Thomas Platt is pictured with his new furry friend in Perth, Western Australia, where he lives, after being sent one of Dr Kershaw’s fund-raising toys. Thomas has renamed his meerkat Morris.
