Family pays tribute to caring son

The family of a Chadderton teenager who died when a moped he was on hit a lamp post have paid tribute to him.
Adam Mitchell (19), of Old Lane, died on Sunday, August 8, after the accident on fields at the end of Granby Street, Chadderton.
Adam, a former Radclyffe School pupil who was studied joinery and carpentry at Oldham College, suffered serious head and body injuries and died at the Royal Oldham Hospital.
A large number of floral tributes have been left at the scene of the tragedy.
His family released a new photograph him and said: “Adam was a son we felt blessed to have.
“He was a kind, caring, considerate, cheeky, funny, clever lad and he was loved by all the many friends he had and they will all miss him. Adam will never be forgotten and will be in our hearts for ever.”
An 18-year-old man also suffered minor injuries to his legs as a result of the collision.
Seven men have been arrested on suspicion of perverting the course of justice and have been bailed pending further inquiries.
