VISITORS to Shaw and Crompton can find local facilities more easily thanks to new information boards.
The signs — directing the public to the main shopping areas, recycling points, car parking, libraries, health centres and the post office — also have space for community groups to advertise events.
The move is part of the latest step in a programme of district centre enhancements negotiated by the council with Asda when planning permission was given to build its Shaw supermarket.
