Thug jailed for two years

A 20-YEAR-OLD man has been jailed for two years after pleading guilty to two counts of assault following an attack on two men.
Adam Carter (20), from Stag Pasture Road, Limeside, was among a gang of six youths in Hollins Road on February 28.
Zafar Ali Khan (26) suffered a broken arm and both he and father-in-law Sikander Khan (50), from Werneth, were left badly bruised after being attacked by the gang, aged from 17 to 22, who hurled racist abuse at the pair before knocking them to the ground and repeatedly hitting them.
Carter admitted grievous bodily harm and actual bodily harm.
