A FUTURE in medicine awaits five-starred George Hulston.
The shocked student, from Shepherds Way, Milnrow, scooped a magnificent five A* grades.
The 18-year-old bagged top marks in biology, chemistry, maths, geography and general studies. He will now study medicine at Nottingham University in September and plans to be a surgeon.
He said: “I’m shocked. It’s hard to know what you will get but I never expected five A*s.”
Proud mum Janat Hulston (47), a bank manager, said: “I knew he would do well but this is really amazing.”
Blue Coat School head Julie Hollis said: “These are our best results ever.
“The average point-score has gone up every year.
“The teachers and pupils have worked very hard and pupils have had a lot of support from the school.
“I am absolutely delighted for everyone.”
