Date published: 24 August 2010
PARENTS are urged to take advantage of free childcare places available across Oldham next month.
Families with children aged three and four are eligible for up to 15 hours free childcare per week over a minimum of 38 weeks before they reach school age.
The free provision becomes available to all children following their third birthday.
Child can have up to 15 hours free each week, and parents also have the option of paying for care beyond that time.
Parents need to select a preferred Ofsted-registered provider who will then support them with the application process.
