Grades rise at Our Lady’s

GCSE:
STANDARDS rose across the board for the sixth year running in Our Lady’s School’s GCSE results.
The percentage of students achieving five top GCSE grades, C or above, was 77 per cent, with several bagging 10 As or A*.
The percentage of students achieving five higher grades including English and maths rose by 10 per cent for the second year running to 56 per cent.
Head teacher Carol Spillane said: “I am absolutely delighted with these excellent results.
“Everyone has worked especially hard this year, students staff and governors, and we fully deserve this success.
“Ofsted acknowledged the tremendous progress we have made this year and these results bear that out.”
Top performers included Thomas Kinsella with eight A* and two As, Rachel Hall with seven A* and three As, Joshua Payne with six A* and four As, Lily Prince with six A* and four As and Samuel Hunter with five A* and five As.
