Woman suffers burns in fire

A WOMAN suffered burns to her face and body in a house fire in Whitegate Road, Chadderton.
An investigation has been launched by the fire service into the blaze in the living room of the house shortly after 1am on Saturday.
The 48-year-old woman was treated by paramedics at the scene before being taken to the Royal Oldham Hospital.
She was later transferred to the specialist burns unit at Wythenshawe Hospital and is said to be in a serious condition.
